A dive logbook for iPhone. No account to create, no ads, no usage analytics: your dives stay on your phone.

What Divefolio does

• Logbook

  Your dives by season or by trip, with sorting, filters and search in sites, buddies and notes. Fix the time of a batch of dives, edit several dives at once, check the numbering. Deleted dives stay in a trash for 30 days.

• Dive profiles

  Depth, tank pressure, surface-equivalent consumption, ppO₂, temperature and events for every dive.

• Bluetooth download

  Direct reading of a Shearwater computer, without modifying it. The Teric is the model tested end to end; other models that speak the same protocol are recognised but have not been validated. The Perdix 3 is not supported.

• Import an old logbook

  Bring over your old logbook: a UDDF file (the exchange format of many dive logging programs), a Subsurface file or a logbook from the Dive Log app. A preview is shown before anything is written, and importing the same file again adds no duplicates.

• Sites and map

  Your sites on a map, each with its page, your dives and up to 3 site plans. A wizard suggests the site of each dive from its GPS positions. A reference site database works offline, and maps can be downloaded for the sea or for travel abroad.

• Buddies and guides

  A page for each buddy, guide or instructor: dives and time together, shared sites, trips, certifications. Import from your contacts, merge duplicates, and link the names written in imported dives to a page.

• Trips

  Stays, liveaboards and club outings, with their club, boat and buddies. Add the dives of a period, check overlapping trips, pick a cover photo, and share or print a souvenir map.

• Clubs and boats

  A page for each club (contact details, dives, trips, boats) and for each boat. Two pages of the same boat can be merged.

• Marine life

  The species seen on each dive, picked from a built-in catalogue of nearly 3,900 species or created by you, with your photos on each page. Online species search is off by default.

• Levels and certifications

  The levels of 12 agencies (FFESSM, PADI, SSI, FSGT, LIFRAS, BSAC, VDST, FEDAS, NAUI, AIDA, Molchanovs, CAH). Your certifications with a photo of the card, your privileges under French rules, and, for 10 of them, your progress towards the next level, computed from your logbook. It is a guide only: your club and your instructor decide.

• Equipment and reminders

  Your equipment, with servicing by date or number of dives, batteries and manuals. Reminders for the medical certificate, licence, insurance and tanks, as notifications.

• Photos and sharing

  Up to 5 photos per dive. Share a dive or a site with a friend who has Divefolio, over AirDrop: the date, notes, conditions, species and site, with your name; never the dive curve, tanks, photos or your buddies.

• Statistics and recaps

  Figures, charts and records; a recap of a year or a trip, to share as a PDF or an image.

• Planning

  A gas planner (it is not a decompression calculation) and MN90 tables, shown with their source and a warning: only the official documents are authoritative.

• Learn

  Core concepts, knots and a diver’s glossary, with original texts and drawings. In beta: knots in 3D, animated step by step, and calculation practice.

Also: editable checklists, from templates; the day’s GPS position; a weighting aid; UDDF or CSV export; full backup; logbook pages and dive sheets printed as PDF.

Your data stays with you

There is no Divefolio server: the publisher receives none of your data. The map background is loaded from an online service; weather and species search are off by default. The details are in the privacy policy.
